After dishing, the so called flanging is the subsequent step in the production process performing the knuckle radius of the head by use of shape rollers and press rollers. Due to the electro-hydraulic gap control exact flanging with repeated accuracy at minimal material thinning is possible.

Using the new high tech flanging machine provided with additional pressure rollers, we are able to produce dished heads up to 7,000 mm diameter and material thickness from 4 to 38 mm.
